It's the 14th day of February...so, happy Valentines Day! :D
I thought this photo was Valentines-ish... I wanted to do a Valentines day themed photo, but I'm still on vacation so I didn't really have the time to. Maybe I'll do one when I get home.

It's almost the next day... I was so scared I wouldn't make it in time, haha
My dad wouldn't let me get on the computer until I ate and took a shower, and we got home late. So I had about 25 minutes to load all of the pictures I took onto my computer, and pick one. There are better pictures than this one, but I chose this picture because I really liked this flower, and I didn't have time to pick another one.

This picture was taken at president Jefferson's home in Nashville. I visited there today.

I am incredibly late putting this photo up...sorry about that. I just got back to my hotel. My dad and I flew to Nashville after school today, and so I haven't had time to put this photo up. Lucky for me, the hotel we're staying in tonight has WiFi. Hopefully, the place we're staying at for the rest of the trip (beginning tomorrow) will also have it.

This is just a photo I took of a water droplet on a tree branch at school. It was raining, and it was very cold.

A very simple, incredibly basic photo for today...
I had a really busy day today, and a lot of homework. I really like what this says though :)

Anyway, to end on a different note, I'm going to Nashville tomorrow (!!!), and I won't be back until Tuesday. I'm not sure if there's WiFi where I'm staying, but if there isn't then I'll post the pictures I took when I get back.

Let's begin by saying, I didn't edit this photo at all. Absolutely no photo manip.
It's a photo... of glitter, really close up, no flash (i hate flash).
Simply the light reflecting off of each tiny piece of glitter on a sculpture I made last year.

Day 8 :) It's one of those tiny little flowers you see in the grass. I saw a whole bunch of them when I was walking to the school parking lot today, and I had to stop and take a picture.

Day 7

Day 7 :)
It was really hard to come up with an idea for a photo today... I took a bunch of photos, and when I looked at them, they just weren't as good as any of the other photos I've taken. They were good, just not as very interesting. This photo was really last minute... like 8:45 PM last minute. It was really hard to come up with ideas today for some reason. Anyway, hopefully this one is somewhat interesting...and hopefully tomorrow's photo will be better. After all, one of the goals of this project is for me to improve my photography :)

I paint also, so these are paintbrushes (obviously)

Day 6

Here's day 6 everyone!
A little bit of abstract art for today.. This photo didn't involve a lot of planning, but I think it turned out well :) I slept in today, which was nice, and then spent the rest of the day being a lazy couch potato...haha. It felt nice to not do anything for a change. Anyway, this was a last minute photo.

These are definitely my favorite converse. I took this picture using the color swap setting on my camera. The shoes are actually gray, so I made them yellow. Oh, and the key is to my jewelry box. I think it's interesting.

Day 5

Day 5 :)
This is one of my favorite necklaces... one of my best friends, Andrew, gave it to me for my birthday last year. I decided to print out some blank sheet music for this one, I was feeling inspired after choir rehearsal today.

I'm in women's choir, and our director was telling us a story, one of those "inspiring" stories that you get in forwarded emails, about how when you wake up each morning you have choices: you can choose to have a good day, or you can choose to have a bad day; you can choose to look on the bright side of things, or you can choose to look at them negatively. He also talked about how you learn from your mistakes, and that everyone goes through good and bad times in their lives. "And if you don't experience all of the terrible times of life, then I feel sorry for you..I really feel sorry for you," he said. Our choir director then proceeded to tell us the following:

"I want you to fall in love. And then I want you to have your heart broken. So that you can fall in love again(, and know what it feels like)."

Just some food for thought... I thought I'd share this with you. We have many discussions in choir, it's one of the many reason's why I love it. Music inspires me :)

Day 3

Day 3 is here!
The title of this photo is Minou, which means kitty in french :)
I was experimenting with the shutter speed on my camera, which was really tough. The slower the speed, the more light is exposed, so it's really hard to get a good picture. I had to dim the lights in my room to take this one. There's an entire series actually...it was really hard to pick which one would be today's photo. I hope you like this photo, along with the rest in it's series. Today's photo was particularly challenging, but hey, I learned something new! :D

Ps. This is a little kitty that I bought at a little shop while visiting Ft. Collins, CO. Just thought I'd add that piece of information :) I think it's adorable. OH, and it's supposed to be good luck too!

My first photo of my 365 days of photography project! :D Yay!
I took this photo right after my geometry honors class, in the classroom. Boring story, right? Yeah..sorry about that. My teacher, Mrs. Managan, asked why I was taking photos. I told her I was doing a photo project, and I was taking pictures of the chalk. Haha, you can imagine how ridiculous I felt. I hope everyone had an amazing day! Mine was great :D
